Violence and Mental Health

The relationship between violence and mental health is a complex one. Health and policy measures that aim to protect the public from violence by may be justified if the threat of violence is greater than that of the non-mentally ill. In this research project, we assess the association between several aspects of mental health and violence, including psychosis and violence and the use of medication and violence, aiming to allow for evidence-based public policy.
