Ana Rita Cruz is a PhD student at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She is currently conducting research on homicidal behavior and the relation with executive functions.
Cátia Pontedeira
Cátia Pontedeira, graduated in Criminology, is currently teaching Criminal Profiling at ISMAI – University Institute of Maia Portugal. Her research interests focus mainly on homicide patterns, intimate partner homicide, homicide sentencing, gender-violence study and the criminological study of homicide in general. She received the Master in Forensic Science by London South Bank University, where she won the prize for the 2014 Best Postgraduate Student. She has been part for the past 2 years of a non-governmental organization as criminologist preventing gender violence at schools. Presently she is investigating homicide in the North of Portugal at Research Unit in Criminology and Behavioural Sciences, ISMAI.
